Read articles on how to change Home directory location on 10.9.4.just unsure about what the risk is in doing this.and want to confirm with someone more knowledgable before doing anything and/or be aware of any common mistakes that people make when making changes with this.

He strongly discouraged me from attempting to make any changes to the Home directory, and/or using any Terminal commands that alter default folder paths/locations, to the point where he didn't want to advise me on how to do what it is I want to do 😐

Talked with Apple support rep about changing Home directory / changing "Advanced Settings" under Users & Groups.

Here's a list of things I've already tried and/or found out: If possible, I would like to do the same with my iMac that is, all the default folders in the Home directory stored in my OneDrive folder. When I used my Windows computer, I liked to have all of my "default" folders/libraries (Documents, Pictures, etc.) stored in my OneDrive folder for easy cloud backup, and also to easily synchronize my files across multiple computers. Fair warning this is my first time using OS X, so I appreciate your patience with me in advance.
